Mass Killing in Japan

Early in the hours of July 25, 2016, a 26-year-old man named Satoshi Uematsu launches an attack on the Tsukui Yamayuri En care facility in Sagamihara, Japan, just south of Tokyo. Uematsu wields a knife, killing 19 and wounding 26 more. His target: the disabled patients at the facility. Uematsu, who drives to the local police station and turns himself in, is quoted saying, "I did it. It is better that disabled people disappear." This is Japan's worst mass killing in decades.
