Brazil's Senate votes on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, to permanently remove President Dilma Rousseff from office 61–20, more than the 54 votes needed. The impeachment vote clears the way for interim president Michel Temer to take the presidential oath, officially becoming Brazil's new leader.
