- Anti-Government Protests in Venezuela
- On Oct. 26, 2016, thousands of anti-government protesters gather in the streets of Caracas,Venezuela to protest their "dictator-like" president, Nicolas Maduro. Recently the people of Venezuela called for a recall election but it was blocked by the electoral authorities and Maduro's allies. Protesters believe that Maduro has abandoned the presidency by neglecting to do his job. They blame him for the triple digit inflation, and the lack of food and medicine throughout the country. These protests spark a congressional decision to open a political trial against Maduro.
