HUBBELL Edwin Nelson , a Representative from New York; born in Coxsackie, Greene County, N.Y., August 13, 1815; pursued an academic course; farmer; town supervisor, Coxsackie, Greene County, N.Y., 1857-1860; elected as a Democrat to the Thirty-ninth Congress (March 4, 1865-March 3, 1867); moved to East Saginaw, Mich., and was employed as a clerk for a lumber company 1883-1887; served as assistant city treasurer 1887-1890 and as deputy city treasurer 1894-1896; died in Nyack, N.Y., Feb. 5, 1897; interment in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands, N.Y.
