Sorenstam was the first woman to play in a men's PGA tournament since 1945, when Babe Didrikson Zaharias played in the Los Angeles Open. In August Sorenstam won the British Open to complete a career Grand Slam. She's the sixth woman golfer to do so. Sorenstam, the best woman golfer in the world, has won 43 LPGA events and nearly $12 million in prize money.
