Holyfield-Lewis Fight

It's a question boxing fans are asking as well. The winner of Saturday's fight will hold all three of the recognized championship belts in professional boxing. It will be the first time this will have been the case since 1992.

Holyfield, who's said he'd like to retire next year, would like to take Lewis' World Boxing Council (WBC) title and be the undisputed heavyweight champion before hanging up his gloves up for good. Britain's Lewis is still trying to establish himself as a legitimate heavyweight contender in the eyes of the American boxing fans.

This is the fight which can achieve that for Lewis, who's held the WBC title for the last two years. With a victory, he can silence critics who think his 34-1 record is weakened by victories over second-tier opponents.

"Only good spins off for sport when major fights like this happen," said Brophy. "This has something of the same effect and building up to the Ali-Frazier fights, where you know that at approximately 11 p.m. EST everybody will be tuned in, waiting for that opening bell."
