MacMillan, David W.C.

MacMillan, David W.C., 1968–, b. Bellshill, U.K. Scotish chemist, James S. McDonnell Distiguished University Professor in Chemistry and Chemistry Department chair (2010–2015). He is best known for his work building organic molecules and develpoment of new concepts in catalysis. He shared the 2021 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Benjamin List for "the development of asymmetric organocatalysis."
