Qasigiannguit

Qasigiannguit kä˝sĭgēän´go͞oĭt [key], formerly Christianshåbkrĭs´tyäns-hôp [key], town (1996 pop. 1,515), Qasigiannguit dist., W Greenland, on Disko Bay. The town was founded in 1734. It has a shrimp-canning factory.
