Marin, Sanna Mirella

Marin, Sanna Mirella, 1985–, Finnish political leader, prime minister of Finland (2019–). A Social Democrat, she was head of the Tampere City Council (2013–17) and was first elected to the Finnish parliament in 2015. Minister of transport and communications from June, 2019, she succeeded Antti Rinne as prime minister of the five-party coalition government in Dec., 2019. She replaced Antti Rinne as leader of the Social Democratic party in Aug., 2020.
