Ippolitov-Ivanov, Mikhail Mikhailovich

Ippolitov-Ivanov, Mikhail Mikhailovich mēkhəyēl´ mēkhī´ləvĭch ēpəlyē´təf-ēvä´nəf [key], 1859–1935, Russian composer pupil of Rimsky-Korsakov at the Moscow Conservatory. His work best-known outside Russia is the suite Caucasian Sketches (1894).
