Sipilä, Juha Petri

Sipilä, Juha Petri, 1961–, Finnish political leader, prime minister of Finland (2015–19). A business executive and one of Finland's wealthiest persons, he was first elected to the Finnish parliament in 2011. Head of the Center party from 2012 to 2019, he was briefly the speaker of parliament in 2015, then led a center-right coalition government. He resigned in 2019 after his government failed to reorganize the healthcare system.
