Saturday, May 27, 2023 – Bayern Munich won their 11th consecutive Bundesliga title after beating Cologne to get ahead of Borussia Dortmund. If Dortmund had beaten Mainz, they would have won their first title since 2011/2012, but they ended their match in a 2-2 draw, which allowed Bayern to clinch the top stop.

A penalty kick from Cologne had canceled the earlier strike from Kingsley Coman. Bayern, however, took the lead thanks to Jamal Musiala’s late goal. The fans of Dortmund were dejected, although Dortmund returned after going down 2-0 at the break.

Dortmund, however, thought that their title rivers had handed them the title until Jamal Musiala’s late goal secured the win for Bayern.

Bayern's triumph marked a successful season end for their coach, Thomas Tuchel, who replaced Julian Nagelsmann in March.

Aspartame Artificial Sweetener Could Be Carcinogenic, According To WHO Reports

Assorted Artificial sweeteners

Thursday, June 29, 2023 – Aspartame, which is found in most sweetened substances from Coca-Cola diet sodas to Mars' Extra chewing gum and various Snapple drinks, will be categorized as "possibly carcinogenic to humans" by the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) for the first time in July. the Joint WHO and Food and Agriculture Organization's Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA) declared the additive safe for consumption in 1981, albeit with safe limits.

The IARC conclusion, issued earlier this month following a meeting of the group's external experts, is supposed to determine whether something is a possible hazard based on all available data.

The IARC's decisions have also been criticized for creating unnecessary concern in the food and drugs industry over substances that can rarely be avoided. Substances are classified into four; carcinogenic, certainly carcinogenic, potentially carcinogenic, and not classifiable. The levels are determined by the strength of the evidence rather than the substance's danger.
