This is where it all began, the debut of the Hepburn/Tracy team that collaborated (on- and offscreen) for 25 years until Tracy's death in 1967. Hepburn, a high-brow foreign-affairs reporter, falls for colleague Tracy, a low-key sportswriter. Their unlikely marriage survives Hepburn's commitment to her career and noncommital home-making.
