In his small, finely wrought film, Klapisch perfectly captures a city in transition and the details of life we often overlook. When she goes on holiday, Chloé (Clavel) leaves her beloved cat with her crotchety neighbor, Madame Renée (Le Calm). The cat escapes Renée's watch, and upon returning, Chloé's search for the feline in her Paris neighborhood thrusts her into the lives of her neighbors.
