Age: 90

Hungarian-born riding instructor, who coached the U.S. Equestrian show jumping team from 1955-80; won Olympic silver medals in 1960 and 1972; his book “The de Nemethy Method”and the instructional videos that followed became standards for training world-class, show-jumping horses and riders; charter member of the Show Jumping Hall of Fame in Tampa. He died of pneumonia.
