Here's a list of the most gay-friendly cities in the U.S. according to the Advocate. The magazine uses their own equation, which includes LGBT elected officials, transgender protections, LGBT bookstores, and more. You won't find the usual suspects (New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, and Los Angeles) on this list.
