Updated September 27, 2017 | Infoplease Staff

All four events consist of a short program (two minutes and 40 seconds) and a long program (4:30 for men and 4:00 for women). Skaters are ranked on technical merit and artistic impression in a consensus vote by nine judges. Factored placements (FP) are determined by multiplying the final short program rank by 0.5 and then adding that number to the final long program.

Medal breakdown (4 events): Five medals— Russia (3-2-0); Two— United States (1-1-0) and France (0-0-2); One— Canada (0-1-0), China (0-0-1) and Germany (0-0-1).
