Nazarene

Nazarene năzˈərēn [key], term used of the early Christians. Jesus was sometimes referred to as a Nazarene, alluding to his home town, Nazareth. This usage occurs several times in the New Testament. Nazarene is also used of Christians in the Qur'an.
