Feldkirch

Feldkirch fĕltˈkĭrkhˌ [key], town, in Voralberg, extreme W Austria, near the Rhine River and the Swiss and Liechtenstein borders; founded c.1190. There are textile mills and breweries in the town. Noteworthy buildings include the town hall and the Gothic Church of St. Nicholas (both 15th cent.).
