Millard Fuller was the founder of Habitat for Humanity. Referred to as "God's contractor" in the pages of Christianity Today, his organization has built more than 300,000 homes in over 100 countries to date, housing over a million disadvantaged people. Fuller went to law school and then got rich with a series of business ventures, but his life's work didn't start until after he became a millionaire. Unsatisfied with their life, he and his wife, Linda, rededicated themselves to Christian principles and began the work that eventually became Habitat for Humanity in 1968. He passed away on February 2, 2009 at the age of 74.
