Sandy Sadler
Age: 75former featherweight champion known for an uncanny finishing punch for a man his size, which helped him earn a 144-16-2 record with 103 knockouts; had memorable four-fight series with Willie Pep between 1949-51, knocking Pep out in three of them; forced to retire as champion in 1957 after sustaining an eye injury when the taxi in which he was riding was involved in an accident; trained several pro boxers, including George Foreman in the 1970s; elected to the Boxing Hall of Fame in 1990; he had Alzheimer's disease. The cause of his death was not given.
