Lloyd Espenschied

Coaxial cable—While at AT&T Bell Telephone Laboratories in 1929, Affel and Espenschied invented coaxial cable. The cable advanced long distance telephone service, making it possible to carry thousands of simultaneous phone calls on long distance circuits.
