Basketball
won 1996 NCAA title in his 7th year at Kentucky; previously coached the New York Knicks in the NBA (96-81 overall), Providence College (42-23) and Boston University (46-24); in 1997, became coach and president of Boston Celtics; resigned from Celtics in 2001 and returned to college coaching with Louisville.
