1996-97 Season: Underclassmen in NBA Draft

Twenty five Division I players (19 juniors, five sophomores and one freshmen), six junior college players, five Division II juniors, one NAIA player, one high school senior, one player from the Atlantic Basketball Association and one player from overseas forfeited the remainder of their college eligibility and declared for the 1997 NBA Draft which took place in Charlotte, N.C. on June 25.
