Emmy Award-winning actor who played bumbling, monocled Nazi Col. Wilhelm Klink on television's Hogan's Heroes. His true love, however, was music. He performed in several opera productions and was a frequent narrator for symphony orchestras. His father was the renowned conductor and music director Otto Klemperer. Died: Manhattan, 12/6/2000
