Based on the British hit show Fawlty Towers, Payne stars Larroquette as Royal Payne and Williams as his wife, Constance, who own and run Whispering Pines, a quaint California hotel. Royal loves everything about the hotel, except the guests. Constance tries to temper his annoyance while catering to the clientele.
