Farrah Fawcett

(Mary Farrah Fawcett)
actress
Born: 2/2/1947
Birthplace: Corpus Christi, Texas

Actress who enjoyed a burst of superstardom as the prettiest of television's original Charlie's Angels (1976–77), the show which, according to some, launched a new genre of jiggle television that focused more on flash than substance. Over the years, Fawcett has remained active in television and movies, and has worked to attain more substantial parts. She received good reviews for a supporting role in Robert Duvall's movie The Apostle (1997). Fawcett was married to actor Lee Majors, and had a long relationship with actor Ryan O'Neal.
