Annie Potts actress Born: 10/28/1952 Birthplace: Nashville, Tennessee
This comic actress, who first made her mark as the loopy office coordinator in Ghostbusters (1984), has had an active career in television. For seven years she played Mary Jo Shively on Designing Women (1986–93) after starring in Goodtime Girls (1980). She played the lead role in Dangerous Minds (1996–97) and starred opposite Tim Curry in Over the Top (1997). She also did a series for Lifetime, Any Day Now (1998–2002). Potts provided the voice for Bo Peep in the film Toy Story (1995) and its 1999 sequel.
