Kathleen Turner (Mary Kathleen Turner) actress Born: 6/19/1954 Birthplace: Springfield, Missouri
Body Heat (1981), Turner's screen debut, was the first of a string of successful films in which she would perform in the 1980s, including Romancing the Stone (1984) and Prizzi's Honor (1985), for which she won consecutive Golden Globe awards, and Peggy Sue Got Married (1986), which garnered her a Best Actress Oscar nomination. Her other movies include War of the Roses (1989), House of Cards (1993), The Real Blonde (1998), and The Virgin Suicides (1999).
