Originally a top teen model, she later moved into feature films aimed at teenage audiences, including Paradise (1982), Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982), Gremlins (1984), and Gremlins II (1990). Her other acting credits include the movies Drop Dead Fred (1991), Bodies, Rest & Motion (1993), and Princess Caraboo (1994) and the TV movies Lace (1984) and Lace II (1985). She came out of “retirement” in 2001 to work in The Anniversary Party, written and directed by Alan Cumming and Jennifer Jason Leigh. She has been married since 1989 to actor Kevin Kline.
