Gary Busey

Birthplace: Goose Creek, Texas

A lanky blond, he won an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of the title character in The Buddy Holly Story (1978). In his later movies he has often played bad-guy roles, as in Lethal Weapon (1987) and Under Siege (1992). His other movies include Gumball Rally (1976), Silver Bullet (1985), and Eye of the Tiger (1987).
