Kiwi television actress known to most as Xena, Warrior Princess, Lawless has become the Wonder Woman of the nineties. When she appeared on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as Xena, a female counterpart to Hercules, she received such an enthusiastic response that she was offered a spin-off of her own. Xena: Warrior Princess first aired in 1995 and ran for six years, ending in 2001. Other projects include playing Rizzo in a Broadway revival of Grease. She had roles in Spider-Man (2002) and Boogeyman (2005).
