Actress who played the title role in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997–2003), the gorgeous kick-boxing teen who must balance the stresses of teenage life with the demands of being a once-in-a-generation vampire killer. In 1995, Gellar won an Emmy for Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in a Daytime Drama Series for her role in All My Children. Her big screen work includes I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), Scream 2 (1997), and The Grudge (2004), The Grudge 2 (2006) and a dark look at Alice in Wonderland all grown up in Alice (pre-production 2006).
