Tallulah Bankhead

Born: 1/31/1903
Birthplace: Huntsville, Alabama

Known for her throaty, seductive voice and witty repartee, she starred on stage in The Little Foxes (1939), The Skin of Our Teeth (1943), and Private Lives (1947) and on screen in Hitchcock's Lifeboat (1944). She is also famous and perhaps best remembered, however, for her tempestuous and flamboyant personal life.
