Even with Freeman in the driver's seat, Kiss the Girls can't overcome a cliched, formulaic script. After scrappy kick-boxing doctor Kate Mctiernan (Judd) narrowly escapes the creepy underground dungeon presided over by a deranged “collector” of attractive college women who calls himself Casanova, she teams up with police forensic psychologist Alex Cross (Freeman) to locate the oubliette and free the dozen other women Casanova has amassed. Cross has a special interest in the case; his niece is one of the captives. Obviously, credibility isn't an issue here.
