Uproariously funny, this hip tour de force finds an unhappy entomologist, adopted as a child, in the midst of an identity crisis. He ditches his adoptive parents (Segal and a winningly neurotic Moore) to take off with his wife (Arquette) and a leggy adoption agent (Leoni) to unearth his roots. With its refreshingly loopy cast (Lily Tomlin and Alan Alda play the guy's aging hippie birth parents), this sexy road movie swerves with kooky, unexpected detours.
