Academy Award-winning film and stage actress, singer, film producer, and director. She appeared in the film (1968) and stage (1964) versions of Funny Girl and in the films The Way We Were (1973) and Yentl (1983), which she directed. She also directed The Prince of Tides (1991) and The Mirror Has Two Faces (1996). Her recordings include The Barbra Streisand Album (1963), A Star Is Born (1976), and The Concert (1994). She is married to actor James Brolin.
