Academy and Tony Award winning film and stage actress who began acting when she was 9 years old and became a leading figure on Broadway and the big screen. Her plays include Victoria Regina (1935) and Caesar and Cleopatra (1932). Her films include A Farewell to Arms (1932) and Airport (1970). Her son is Hawaii Five-0 star sidekick, James MacArthur.
