Shana Alexander

liberal journalist and commentator who frequently engaged in heated debates with conservative James Kilpatrick on 60 Minutes during the 1970s. Their repartee was parodied on Saturday Night Live. Alexander, a former columnist for Newsweek and Life magazines, wrote several books.
