Educational Attainment in the U.S.

How many people graduate college in the U.S.

It's a common point of discussion that college degrees are becoming more and more expected in the United States. But how many people actually have degrees? According to the Census Bureau:

High School graduate 27.8%
Some college 17.5%
Associate's degree 10.1%
Bachelor's degree 22.1%
Master's degree 9.4%
Doctoral or Professional degree 3.2%
 
NOTE: Persons 25 years and older,

This means that nearly half of U.S. adults have achieved some sort of college degree, and well over half have attended some amount of college.
