bassist for the Who whose disciplined demeanor onstage balanced the theatrical, often outrageous styles of bandmates Roger Daltrey, Keith Moon, and Pete Townshend. Entwistle, widely considered one of the most influential bassists of all time, died of a heart attack. Died: Las Vegas, June 27, 2002
