Howard Cannon

Age: 90

World War II pilot and Democratic politician who served four terms as a U.S. senator from Nevada. He lost his 1982 bid for reelection after Teamster officials were convicted of offering him a bribe. Cannon was never indicted in the scandal.

Died: Las Vegas, March 6, 2002
