Wen Ho Lee,

59, Taiwan-born American scientist, was fired from his job at Los Alamos National Laboratory in March for allegedly passing on classified information on the W-88 nuclear warhead technology to China. Lee allegedly leaked the documents by moving them electronically onto an unsecured computer network. Lee broke his silence in his August appearance on 60 Minutes, when he denied any wrongdoing. He was indicted in Dec. on 59 counts of illegally downloading classified data from the computers at the Los Alamos weapons lab. U.S. prosecutors allege that the files contained some of the most coveted secrets about the design and construction of the country's nuclear arsenal. He pleaded not guilty and was held without bail pending trial.
