Matt Damon, 28, and Ben Affleck, 26, longtime pals from Boston, became two of Hollywood's most sought-after actors this year. The popularity of Good Will Hunting, the Oscar-winning film they wrote and starred in together, landed them on magazine covers and talk shows, as well as in some of the year's biggest blockbusters, with Affleck appearing in Armageddon and Damon in Saving Private Ryan.
