Ryan Harris,

11, Chicago youth, was found dead in the yard of an abandoned house in her neighborhood in July. Police charged two young boys, ages 7 and 8, with killing Harris after they confessed that they hit her in the head with a brick so they could steal her bike. The charges were dropped a month later, when semen detected on the girl's clothing proved the boys' guilt unlikely.
