Louis W. Parker

Born: 1906
Birthplace: Budapest, Hungary

Television receiver—Parker is best known for the “Intercarrier Sound System” used in all television receivers in the world. He also invented the first color television system using vertical color lines which made it possible to change from the original three color dot system to the simpler vertical color line system. (1988)
