film actor, director and still photographer credited with “discovering” Mary Cathleen Collins, a.k.a. Bo Derek. Although Derek played supporting roles in such films as The Ten Commandments, All the King's Men and Exodus, he will best be remembered as the husband of beautiful actresses, including Ursula Andress, Linda Evans and Bo Derek.

Died: May 22, 1998.
