Ronald Ridenhour

Vietnam veteran who disclosed information picked up from Army colleagues about the killing of between 175 and 400 civilians in My Lai by American soldiers in 1968. An embarrassment for the Army, the “My Lai Massacre” contributed to many Americans' anti-war sentiments in the late '60s.
