Judith Merril

writer, editor

With a literary approach to science fiction, Merril was influential in setting the course of modern science fiction. Early in her career, she was associated with the Futurians, a group of sci-fi writers that included Isaac Asimov, C.M. Kornbluth and Frederick Pohl, to whom she was once married. Her books include Shadow on the Hearth.
