Mary Jane Latsis

novelist

With her collaborator Martha Henissart, Latsis created the formidable John Putnam Thatcher, a New York banker with a knack for crime-solving. The pair penned more than 20 mystery novels, using the pseudonym Emma Lathen. Their books include Banking on Death and A Shark Out of Water.
